ATTAC To Aid West Virginia National Guard
West Virginia’s National Guard (WVNG), in conjunction with the Department Of Homeland Securities (DHS) Office Of Bombing Prevention has chosen to incorporate Trancite Logic System’s ATTAC software into their Security Operations/Emergency Management (SO/EM) site assessments program. SO/EM assessments are used by both the DHS and the Department of Defense (DoD) to help prevent and prepare for possible catastrophic strikes against critical targets within US borders.
Trancite will integrate WVNG’s custom SO/EM forms into the ATTAC software, giving both the DHS and DoD direct access to critical information needed to assess potential target sites.
ATTAC, based on Trancite’s family of incident diagramming programs, was designed for the DoD to allow agents in the field to quickly and easily create comprehensive reports (“casebooks”) of target and potential target sites. These casebook reports include diagrams, data entry, satellite images, and digital evidence. SO/EM forms will now be integrated into ATTAC casebooks/reporting for the WVNG.
