University of Alabama Signs Official Contract with Trancite

Trancite Logic Systems recently announced its latest contract with the CARE (Critical Analysis Reporting Environment) Research and Development Laboratory (CRDL), a sub-component of the University of Alabama’s Computer Science Department. The U of A’s CRDL is a system integrator which specializes in data analysis software packages for law enforcement personnel. The CRDL seeks to generate valuable statistical and analytical information directly from the data, a vision Trancite’s Easy Street Draw software helps to fulfill.

The official CRDL and Trancite contract was signed on December 16, 2008 and the product was shipped the following day. Easy Street Draw crash diagramming will become an integral component of the CRDL’s eCrash, a system that helps to analyze crash sites and eliminate paper submission and paper waste. eCrash equipped with Easy Street Draw will be utilized by the entire state of Alabama in the near future.
